Last Weekend Last weekend was a lot of fun, with plenty of whisky to be had on the Saturday night for those that camped over, and plenty of exciting activity on the water (and on land) on the Sunday. All I can say is that lots of eggs were carried around on the water, there was plenty of pirate-attack activity with lots of capsizing, and a rather bizarre race on land that involved some rather bizarre clothing! Please see the attached photo from Anni; enough said! This Weekend This weekend marks the start of the Entebbe sailing month! For those of you that have notified me already, your boats will be towed to Entebbe early on Saturday morning. For those wishing to race to Entebbe, the race will start at midday on Saturday from Kaazi. On the Sunday, please be at Entebbe sailing club by 1pm at the latest to start the Martin Russel Deering racing. I’ve attached the list of sailors who have expressed an interest so far; please let me know asap if this is different, otherwise your boat may not / be towed to Entebbe in error. Next Weekend The Entebbe Open is the following weekend; I have not yet received details re timings etc, but these will hopefully be distributed next week. Unfortunately I am not around either this weekend or next, but I should be able to forward info to Lotty for circulation. |
